Giacomo Borghi

Math Postdoc at TU Munich

I am a mathematician working at the intersection of numerical analysis, probability, and mathematical physics. My research connects interacting particle systems and partial differential equations, with applications to sampling, optimization, and machine learning.

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Massimo Fornasier at the Technical University of Munich, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and the Munich Center for Machine Learning.

Previously, I was a postdoc at Heriot-Watt University in the group of Lorenzo Pareschi. I completed my PhD at RWTH Aachen University in February 2024, supervised by Michael Herty and Lorenzo Pareschi.
